Fencing Bowral - Merchant's Contracting uses a ute mounted spray unit with a boom spray to cover large areas. We can either use the boom spray on a paddock to kill everything or we can use the boom spray with various types of herbicide designed to kill selective weeds only.
We also specialise in spot spraying for killing smaller areas of selective weeds.

Fencing Bowral - Merchant's Contracting uses a 20 run Agro Drill which has two boxes, one contains seed and the other contains fertilizer. Both work simultaneously to disperse the correct ratio of fertilizer to seed into the soil at a specified depth. The 'direct drilling' allows for seed to be placed in the soil rather than on top for a better strike rate.
We also use a flexi roller which follows the drill to compact the soil and ensure the seed is covered.

Fencing Bowral - Merchant's Contracting uses a 24 plate Grizzly disc plough to turn up the soil to allow for a softer seed bed to improve sowing conditions.
After heavy ploughing, we use a tyne cultivator/ crumbler to further reduce soil clumps and level the soil for a better seed bed.

Fencing Bowral - Merchant's Contracting specialises in all types of rural fencing, including post and rail (decorative fence commonly used for horse arenas; holding pens etc); stock proof fencing, including barb wire, netting fence, electrified etc.
We specialise in metal and /or timber stock yards.
We use a king hitter post driver for putting in all types of fence posts.
We also have a portable welder for all types of metal fabrication for metal fencing.
